About Seller: A&J Manufacturing Company, Inc. (A&J) is a small woman-owned California Corporation established in 1953. We specialize in the design and production of both commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and customized equipment racks and enclosures, along with various associated installation kits and accessories. Our operations are headquartered in a 45,190 sq ft. facility in Foothill Ranch, CA, housing fabrication, assembly, engineering, quality assurance, contracts, purchasing, and administrative functions. Throughout our 65+ years of operation, we have pioneered aluminum extrusions and a unique all-bolted-together construction technique, eliminating the need for welding. Our family of extrusions caters to a wide range of requirements, from light to heavy-duty enclosures, and are proprietary trade secrets developed with private funds. These extrusions and construction methods are shared with the U.S government, its contractors, and customers under a "limited rights" basis. A&J's environmental enclosures are designed to meet U.S. Department of Defense standards, emphasizing simplicity and dimensional flexibility through a modular design approach. Our enclosures are user-friendly, easy to install, maintain, and disassemble/reassemble as needed. A&J manufactures high strength to weight ratio cabinets meeting military shock (MIL-S-901) and Vibration (MIL-STD-167-1) requirements, as well as electronic industry standards (RS-310) and shielding specifications (MIL-STD-461 EMI/RFI). Originally a screw parts machine shop in the Gentry family home in Temecula, CA, A&J is now led by Jan Lyerly, daughter of Woodrow and Ada. Jan's daughter and son are also involved in the business, continuing the family legacy as the 3rd generation.
