About Seller: Advanced Chemical Sensors (ACS) was established in 1976 with the goal of enhancing the measurement techniques for toxic vapors regulated by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. In contrast to the sampling tube method, the passive monitoring approach eliminates the requirement for a mechanical pump to gather air samples. A solid adsorbent, isolated from the surrounding air by a porous membrane, functions similarly to a pump but without any moving components. The ACS badge was developed as a result of this innovation. The cost-effectiveness and simplicity of this method have led to its widespread utilization in measuring employee exposure and room concentrations of various chemicals. Health care facilities, government agencies, and many of the largest industrial corporations utilize ACS badges to monitor employee exposure levels. The ACS laboratory has received accreditation from the American Industrial Hygiene Association Laboratory Accreditation Program, LLC (AIHA-LAP, LLC). The American Dental Association (ADA) has assessed the accuracy of nitrous oxide monitor badges, with data confirming the precision of our monitoring badge.
