CME holds certifications for AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 for both manufacturing and engineering, and our Pressure Calibration lab is compliant with ISO 17025 standards. Established by Dr. Nancy Crews in 1997, the company has been in operation for 27 years, specializing in the development, prototyping, and manufacturing of custom-engineered products for industrial and government clients. Additionally, CME offers calibration and repair services to external clients and internal programs. Our operations are based in a 35,000 square foot facility in Pinellas Park, FL. Over the years, CME has served as a supplier to Fortune 500 companies and the Federal government. Our current manufacturing operations primarily focus on the production of CCAs, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, industrial control panels, avionics test sets, and custom power supplies. In addition to these products, CME also offers its own branded products under the SiteLites™ LED work light product family and solar4® solar generator products, including the solar4STEM STEM training device. Our expertise lies in electrical/electronic assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, custom pneumatic/hydraulic assemblies, and specialized test and measurement equipment for industrial and aerospace applications. From design to development to meeting customer specifications, CME designs and manufactures a wide array of products, including CCAs, electronic/electrical assemblies, cable and wire harness assemblies, industrial control panels, special test equipment, power supplies, power distribution equipment, portable solar energy generators, and custom training devices. Our engineering capabilities encompass electronic/electrical and electro-mechanical design, power supply design, component-level test equipment development, SBIR R&D projects, and environmental and EMI product qualification/validation testing. On the production side, we specialize in box builds, wire harness assembly and testing, soldering, and encapsulation/potting. In addition to our engineering and manufacturing services, CME operates an ISO 17025 compliant calibration lab that provides in-house and specialized third-party maintenance/repair services for pressure instrumentation and power distribution equipment.
