About Seller: General Assembly & Manufacturing Corporation is a contract assembler that specializes in a wide range of hand, power assisted, and automated assembly and packaging operations. Established in 1977 and formally incorporated in 1979, we have been a trusted provider of assembly, packaging, and manufacturing services for over 25 years. Our facility is conveniently located approximately 40 miles northwest of Chicago and occupies 30,000 square feet within a 72,000 square foot building.
Our manufacturing capabilities include eyeleting orbital and press riveting, hand soldering, resistance welding, and ultrasonic welding. We also offer various bench assembly services such as gluing, staking, and forming. In addition, we provide marking and decorating options like hot stamping and roll transfer printing, as well as secondary machining operations on metals and plastics. Our packaging services include blister packaging, shrink wrapping, poly bagging, and simple product packaging.
To ensure quality and efficiency, we have implemented excellent control systems that monitor inventory and processes by order and customer. We closely inspect work in progress, incoming materials, and outgoing products to adhere to stringent quality assurance procedures, guaranteeing that the final product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Our experience ranges from assembling simple two-piece snap-together toys to fabricating complex precision tools with dozens of parts. We have expertise in manufacturing critical products like gas mask drink tube assemblies and respirator breathing circuits, as well as assembling components as small as a grain of rice or as large as an office file cabinet.
