Originally based in New York in 1947, Greaves relocated to Connecticut in 1950 and later to Guilford, Connecticut in 1954. In 2007, Essex Products Group acquired Greaves and subsequently moved the factory to Clinton, CT in 2008, before consolidating all operations at the Centerbrook, CT headquarters in 2016.
