About Seller: LJ Fabricators, Inc. was established in Rockford, Illinois in June of 1983 by Larry A. Johnson. The company initially operated out of a 6,000-square-foot facility located at the intersection of Grable and Kishwaukee Street. LJ Fabricators provided a comprehensive range of metal fabricating services including shearing, punching, forming, sawing, rolling, spot welding, and MIG / TIG welding. In 1987, the facility was expanded to 11,200 square feet. In November of 1989, Larry Johnson recognized the growing demand for services and invested in a CO2 2-dimensional laser cutting machine, capable of cutting various materials up to .375 inches thick. The company further expanded its capabilities in June of 1992 by incorporating 3-dimensional laser cutting. Over the years, LJ Fabricators has continued to expand and enhance its services, leading to the relocation to a larger facility in 1995 spanning over 39,000 square feet. In 2004, the company acquired its first 4400w Bystronic laser with a tower system for automated operations. Subsequent years saw the addition of more equipment, including another 4400w Bystronic laser in 2007, a 6,000w Bystronic laser in 2009, and new state-of-the-art Bystronic Expert 165/220s Brake presses in 2010 and 2011. In 2013, LJ Fabricators upgraded to a larger Trumpf 5000 punch machine with a 60x120 load/unload system. Further investments were made in 2014 with the purchase of a 6000w Fiber optics laser and a 320 Bystronic Brake Press. With a team of over 35 manufacturing technology and support professionals, LJ Fabricators continues to provide high-quality metal fabricating services to its clients.
