About Seller: Sterling Equipment and Manufacturing was established in 1976 by founder William "Bill" Sterling Redmond. Initially operating out of his gas station in Orlando, Florida in the early 70's, Mr. Redmond focused on fabricating and selling steel truck accessories. In response to increasing demand, he later established a separate entity known as Sterling Equipment & Mfg. Co. Inc. In 1983, Bill Redmond retired and sold the business to the current owner and president, Peter Rogers. After working closely with Bill for a month, Peter Rogers made the decision to purchase Sterling Equipment & Mfg. at the end of 1983. In 2001, Peter's two sons joined him as corporate officers, collectively providing over 70 years of experience and serving as the driving force behind the company's operations today.
