About Seller: Tapco was founded in the early 1970s by Paul D. Taylor, President, and Ted W. Beaty, Retired, with the aim of addressing a gap in the elevator bucket industry. At that time, there was only one manufacturer of nonmetallic buckets in the United States, with all other buckets being made from fabricated steel. Recognizing the limitations of steel buckets and the existing polyethylene brand, Tapco was established to offer a solution. The company has been operating from its 92,500 square foot facility for over 25 years, allowing for in-house injection molding to enhance control and cost efficiency. With nine injection molding machines ranging from 150 to 1,000 tons, Tapco is able to produce its complete range of buckets efficiently and with quality control. Tapco boasts the largest inventory of elevator buckets and bolts globally, with approximately 900,000 buckets and 14 million bolts in stock. Additionally, the company holds the largest inventory of abrasion resistant sheeting, drag flights, and hanger bearings in North America. Tapco is dedicated to providing the products customers need, when they need them, and at competitive prices. The shipping department is equipped to handle urgent orders, welcoming rush requests from clients. Tapco is committed to innovation and growth, with plans for new products in the bulk material handling sector. The company's exporting efforts are expanding, having reached over fifty countries worldwide. Stocking distributors strategically located in various regions facilitate further market growth. Tapco continuously explores new technologies to enhance customer service, with a focus on product research and development. The highest quality materials, including 100% prime virgin high density linear polyethylene, impact modified nylon, and thermoplastic urethane, are used in the production of Tapco buckets. Our mission at Tapco is to deliver top-quality products and assist customers in achieving their goals in a cost-effective manner. Building and sustaining strong relationships with customers is a priority, with a dedicated team ready to promptly address client needs. The company values its customers and looks forward to serving them for years to come, while also welcoming feedback on how to improve collaboration in the future.
