The Roscoe Company

Chicago Illinois US 60624
About Seller: In 1921, George C. Buik and John P OConnell founded the Roscoe Overall Company in Chicago, initially offering laundering services for customer-owned work clothes and rags. Over time, the company expanded its product line to include uniforms, floor mats, industrial towels, mops, linens, and restroom hygiene products. Today, Roscoe is owned and operated by James W. Buik, the grandson of the founder. Serving over 2,000 customers within a 90-mile radius of our state-of-the-art facility in the Lawndale Community, Roscoe caters to a variety of industries such as manufacturing, food processing, transportation, construction, health services, wholesale trade, agricultural services, education, and social services. Roscoe takes pride in providing customers with high-quality garments adorned with company and name emblems or direct embroidery. The company's product line also includes a wide range of floor mats, which not only help maintain cleanliness in office areas but also enhance safety and comfort in the workplace. Industrial shop towels, linen products, dust mops, and restroom facility services round out the offerings. Central to Roscoe's operations is its commitment to excellent customer service. The team is dedicated to delivering clean merchandise, removing soil on a weekly basis, and meeting customers' stringent quality standards by laundering, repairing, and replacing items as needed. Sustainability is a core value at Roscoe, with a long history of environmental stewardship. In 1974, Donald W. Buik, son of the founder, worked with the newly formed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and two national trade associations to pioneer waste water pretreatment. Roscoe holds the longest record of environmental compliance in the nation and continues to lead the industry with best practices. In 2008, the company modernized its plant and equipment, creating one of the most energy-efficient facilities in the country.
