USB Type-C Control The USB Type-C interface offers a range of control features that allow users to manage power delivery, data transfer rates, and other functions. This includes the ability to configure the port as a source or sink of power, with adjustable current limits from 0.5 A up to 100 W of power delivery. Additionally, the USB Power Delivery (PD) specification allows for remote wake functionality, enabling devices to be woken up remotely over the cable. The Type-C interface also supports Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) for HDMI and DisplayPort signals, as well as Re-drivers for high-speed data transfer between systems.
