About Seller: A1 Portable originated from a small waste management company founded by R.B. Carroll in Lexington in 1935. In 1953, O.T. Reynolds, a Navy veteran from World War II and the son-in-law of Carroll, acquired a portion of the business to establish his own waste management company. Originally known by his name, the company evolved into A-1 Sanitation Service, expanding into septic waste and portable toilet services. Eric Reynolds, O.T. Reynolds' son and a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University in 1971, officially joined the business on a full-time basis, marking the next phase of growth. Over 80 years later, the business remains in the family, with the current owner and operations manager having joined at a young age. While no longer offering garbage collection services, A1 Portable now specializes in Portable Restrooms, Portable Storage Containers, and Mobile Offices, catering to clients in Lexington, Louisville, and surrounding areas, including eastern Kentucky. With a strong commitment to customer service, the company looks forward to serving both existing and new clients in the future.
