About Seller: Advanced Chemical Sensors (ACS) was established in 1976 with the goal of enhancing methods for measuring toxic vapors regulated by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The passive monitoring technique developed by ACS eliminates the need for a mechanical pump to collect air samples, using a solid adsorbent separated by a porous membrane to act as a pump without any moving parts. This innovation led to the creation of the ACS badge, which has gained wide acceptance due to its cost-effectiveness and ease of use in measuring employee exposure and room concentrations of various chemicals. ACS badges are utilized by health care facilities, government agencies, and many major industrial corporations for monitoring employee exposure levels. Our laboratory is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association Laboratory Accreditation Program, LLC (AIHA-LAP, LLC), and the accuracy of our nitrous oxide monitor badges has been evaluated and confirmed by the American Dental Association (ADA). Monitoring badges from two other companies were found to be inadequate compared to ACS badges.
