About Seller: Advanced Chemical Sensors (ACS) was established in 1976 with the goal of enhancing the measurement techniques for toxic vapors regulated by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. In contrast to the sampling tube method, the passive monitoring approach eliminates the requirement for a mechanical pump to gather the air sample. A solid adsorbent, isolated from the surrounding air by a porous membrane, functions similarly to a pump but without any moving components. This led to the development of the ACS badge. The cost-effectiveness and user-friendly nature of this technique have resulted in its widespread adoption for measuring employee exposure and room concentrations of various chemicals. ACS badges are utilized by health care facilities, government agencies, and many of the largest industrial corporations to monitor employee exposure levels. The ACS laboratory holds accreditation from the American Industrial Hygiene Association Laboratory Accreditation Program, LLC (AIHA-LAP, LLC). The American Dental Association (ADA) has verified the accuracy of nitrous oxide monitor badges, with their findings indicating the reliability of our monitoring badge.
