The unique microstructure and well-dispersed graphite in Versa-Bar improve machining rates and increase tool life, ultimately reducing per-part machining costs. In addition to cost savings, Versa-Bar can also outperform higher-priced or more challenging materials. The high graphite content acts as a natural self-lubricant, while the tiny recesses in the graphite flakes or spheres retain additional lubricants, resulting in longer-lasting parts.
