The manufacturing process begins with the careful selection of virgin resins without re-grind for each specific application, followed by the production of plastic tanks using rotational molding in a one-piece construction method. With a state-of-the-art rotational molding facility, Assmann ensures stress-free tanks or parts are produced. The company's extensive experience in processing and dedication to quality construction result in top-quality plastic storage tanks suitable for the most demanding chemical services. Assmann manufactures one-piece construction tanks from crosslink polyethylene for industrial strength chemicals, and FDA-conforming linear polyethylene for high purity and food applications. These tanks offer superior resistance to corrosion and chemicals compared to fiberglass, stainless steel, or mild steel, as well as excellent low-temperature impact resistance. All tanks feature air cooling with uniform walls, UV stabilization, and come with a five-year warranty. Custom colors and accessory fittings are available, and all secondary containment vessels meet EPA requirements. Assmann's high-density crosslink Schulink XL-350 resin tanks are the first crosslink tanks to be NSF International certified to ANSI 61 standards for chemical storage. The tanks are suitable for a wide range of chemical applications, including Sodium Hypochlorite, Sulfuric Acid, and Sodium Hydroxide. Assmann's linear polyethylene tanks are NSF/ANSI Standard 61 certified for Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects, allowing for use with multiple potable water contact materials at ambient temperatures.
