About Seller: The origins of our company can be traced back to a conversation between a Postal Clerk in Chicago, IL and Romanzo N. Bunn in 1906 about the possibility of creating a mechanical tying machine. This idea was passed on to Benjamin H. Bunn, then a 19-year-old student at Crain Engineering High School. Benjamin went on to invent the Automatic Package Tying Machine for bundling mail, which later expanded to tying newspapers, laundry, bakery boxes, and printed material by the mid 1930s. Our machines have been in use for over 75 years, with some customers still using the same machine in their daily production.
