About Seller: Richard Beaupre, a U.S. Navy Veteran, established ChemArt in 1976. Following his passing, his legacy was passed on to his three children, Stephen, Richard, and David Beaupre, as well as the President, David Marquis. Richard, a skilled chemist, developed a water-based photo-resistant process that is still utilized in printed circuit board technology and other applications. This innovative process was initially tested with jewelry findings and later expanded to industrial parts, decorative ornaments, keepsakes, and various other products. Richard was known for his visionary approach and philanthropic values, which were reflected in his business practices.
Our organization is structured into two distinct divisions: Beacon Design, focusing on custom and wholesale ornaments, and ChemTec, specializing in industrial products such as PCM precision parts for multiple industries. Headquartered in Lincoln, RI, our cutting-edge facility spans 55,000 square feet and houses our operations and dedicated team. A significant number of our employees have been with the company for over a decade, highlighting the loyalty and family-oriented culture established by Mr. Beaupre.
ChemArt obtained its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 certification in December 1995 and was recertified to ISO 9001:2008 in 2008. For more than 35 years, ChemArt has been meeting the rigorous demands of aerospace, automotive, computer, electronics, defense, scientific, and medical industries with our precision-crafted parts. Our key services include design and engineering support, development of precision artwork, and the utilization of advanced etching equipment to meet strict engineering specifications.
Our experienced design and engineering team collaborates closely with customers at every stage of the project to ensure adherence to specifications, including verification of dimensions, material selection, and quantity requirements. Additional operations such as forming, heat treating, passivating, painting, plating, and silk screening can be tailored to meet specific job requirements. ChemArt maintains a diverse range of metals and alloys in various gauges and tempers, including Brass, Copper, Carbon Steels, Nickel, Stainless Steel, and more. Metals can range from 0.0005" (0.0127mm) to .0900" (2.286mm) in thickness, with a standard tolerance typically set at 10% of the metal or alloy thickness used for part production.
