About Seller: CJ has extensive experience in manufacturing and providing logistical services for military electronics and communication equipment. Beginning with the production of components for the AN/VIC-1 vehicle intercom system in the 1980s, we have expanded our offerings to include cabling and audio products for military vehicular communication systems. Our product lines now include handsets, headsets, microphones, speakers, cable assemblies, and cabling products, in addition to our original communication systems.
CJ operates production facilities near Ft. Wayne, Indiana, with offices located in the eastern part of New York City. We have established collaboration agreements with our tool and die/injection molding partners in Ft. Wayne, and most of the support or sub-contract facilities we utilize are within close proximity to our production facilities or offices. This proximity allows us to manage our own tooling for the components we manufacture and maintain extensive inventories to ensure high levels of productivity and on-time performance.
We offer a standard range of tactical audio components, but our specialty lies in engineering our product line to meet the specific needs of our customers' radio systems. Our products are continuously upgraded with new technologies and developments, such as our latest line of handsets with crypto capability and a full range of handsets and headsets with electret microphones.
CJ operates a state-of-the-art modern production facility for our audio products, where microphone and earphone elements, as well as PTT switch assemblies, are manufactured in-house. We utilize the latest audio and electrical testing equipment, with each product undergoing up to four tests during assembly. Services that are not performed in-house, such as tool & die and injection molding, are carried out locally through our partners to maintain control over the quality standards and on-time delivery that our customers expect.
In March 2001, CJ Components implemented quality control systems and procedures to meet ISO 9001/2000 specifications. By June of the same year, we successfully underwent an audit and became a certified and registered ISO 9001/2000 firm.
