Established by Dr. Nancy Crews in 1997, the company has over 27 years of experience in developing, prototyping, and manufacturing custom-engineered products for industrial and government clients. CME also offers calibration and repair services for external clients and internal programs. Our operations are based in a 35,000 sq ft facility in Pinellas Park, FL. Over the years, CME has served as a supplier to leading Fortune 500 companies and the Federal government. Our current manufacturing operations primarily focus on building CCAs, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, industrial control panels, avionics test sets, and custom power supplies for various customer projects. Additionally, CME manufactures its own branded products such as the SiteLites™ LED work light family and solar4® solar generator products, including the solar4STEM STEM training device. Our expertise lies in electrical/electronic assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, custom pneumatic/hydraulic assemblies, and specialized test and measurement equipment for industrial and aerospace applications. From concept design to final build, we specialize in CCAs, electronic/electrical assemblies, cable and wire harness assemblies, industrial control panels, test equipment, power supplies, solar energy generators, and educational devices. Our engineering capabilities encompass electronic/electrical and electro-mechanical design, power supply design, test equipment development, SBIR R&D projects, and product qualification testing. Our production strengths include box builds, wire harness assembly and testing, soldering, and encapsulation. In addition to engineering and manufacturing services, CME operates an ISO 17025 compliant calibration lab offering maintenance and repair services for pressure instrumentation and power distribution equipment. CME is also committed to supporting the community and promoting education in technical fields, particularly in science and engineering. As part of this commitment, CME sponsors mentoring programs and STEM education initiatives.
