About Seller: In 1960, a group of six families identified the need for high-quality electronic components in the rapidly expanding high-tech industries. These industries required suppliers who could understand their specific requirements and provide specialized services and products to meet them. As a response to this demand, Electronic Fasteners Inc. (EFI) was established in a small office in South Boston that same year. The company focused on offering a wide range of fasteners, with a specialization in military-grade fasteners used by the electronics, aerospace, and defense sectors.
EFI experienced significant growth and profitability in its initial year of operation. By 1965, the company had relocated from a 3,500 square foot basement to a 20,000 square foot warehouse. In 1972, the warehouse was further expanded by another 10,000 square feet. Today, EFI remains a family-owned wholesale stocking distributor of fasteners and related products and services. Five of the original founding families are actively involved in the company, bringing generations of experience in the fastener industry to our customers.
