Exergy's miniature shell and tube heat exchangers are designed to provide maximum performance in a compact package, from single units for research and development to large-scale production for OEM equipment. These heat exchangers boast large heat transfer areas in small volumes, with heat transfer rates up to 3,500,000 BTU/hr (1025 kW), liquid flows up to 160 GPM (605 LPM), and pressures up to 4,500 psi (310 bar). Our designs feature materials such as 316 SS, Hastelloy, Inconel, titanium, and other alloys, with nickel brazed construction, seamless tubing, various fittings options, mounting kits, and fully pressure-tested, maintenance-free systems.
Exergy's line of sanitary, standard, and miniature shell and tube heat exchangers are specifically designed to meet the high-quality standards and hygienic requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. Our sanitary miniature shell and tube heat exchangers offer large heat transfer areas in small volumes, heat transfer rates up to 3,500,000 BTU/hr (1025 kW), liquid flows up to 160 GPM (605 LPM), pressures up to 4,500 psi (310 bar), and meet hygienic pharmaceutical standards. These heat exchangers are fully drainable on the tube side, feature integrated sanitary flanges, and are compliant with ANSI/cGMP/FDA standards, with clean-in-place capabilities, stainless steel mounting kits, and maintenance-free operation.
The construction of our sanitary heat exchangers includes materials such as 316L SS, Hastelloy, Inconel, titanium, and other alloys, with nickel brazed joints, seamless electropolished tubing, material and process certifications, and double tube-sheet models available. Additionally, Exergy offers tube-in-tube heat exchangers and sanitary tube-in-tube heat exchangers, which consist of two tubes coiled together, providing efficient heat transfer solutions for various applications.
