Through continuous innovation and evolution, Greaves has introduced groundbreaking products such as USA insulated power distribution blocks, PT-FX Shoo-Pin and PT-R compression adapters, Jones rebar clamps, and FX compression lugs. Originally founded in New York, the company relocated to Connecticut in 1950 and later to Guilford, Connecticut in 1954. In 2007, Essex Products Group based in Centerbrook, Connecticut acquired Greaves and subsequently moved the factory to Clinton, CT in 2008. By 2016, all operations were centralized at the headquarters in Centerbrook, CT, facilitating streamlined manufacturing, stocking, and customer service processes. As a comprehensive supplier, Greaves maintains an inventory of over 4000 different items. Over the years, Greaves expanded its facilities and manufacturing capabilities to produce mechanical lugs and splices, compression lugs and splices, adapters, and a range of grounding clamps. With a range of in-house metalworking and machining capabilities, along with substantial stocks of raw materials and finished products, Greaves is well-equipped to promptly deliver both standard and customized products.
