About Seller: Founded in Chicago in 1961 as Jackson Rubber Stamp Co., the company initially specialized in the production of rubber stamps. Over the years, the company underwent various transformations. In 1966, rubber-stamp manufacturing supplies and vulcanizers were added to the product line, prompting a name change to Jackson Rubber Stamp and Supply Co. The following year, the office was relocated to Schiller Park, a Chicago suburb. As a mail-order business, it was determined that an urban location was unnecessary, leading to a move to Mt. Vernon, Illinois, in 1975. A new building was constructed to accommodate the growing enterprise. In 1980, the company rebranded as Jackson Marking Products Co. to better represent its expanding product line. Following the closure of their vulcanizer supplier in 1983, Jackson Marking began producing precision presses. The product line for marking-industry equipment has since experienced significant growth. All machines are manufactured at their facility, which has undergone two expansions since the relocation to Mt. Vernon. The company has established itself as a leading manufacturer of rubber stamps, a premier industry supplier of raw materials, and a respected equipment fabricator for customers globally.
