About Seller: The company was established in Chicago in 1961 under the name Jackson Rubber Stamp Co., specializing in the production of rubber stamps. Over the years, the company underwent several transformations, including the addition of rubber stamp manufacturing supplies and vulcanizers to its product line in 1966. As a result, the company was renamed Jackson Rubber Stamp and Supply Co. and relocated to Schiller Park, a suburb of Chicago, in 1967. In 1975, recognizing the benefits of a mail-order business model, the company moved to Mt. Vernon, Illinois, in the southern part of the state, where a new facility was built to accommodate its growth. In 1980, the company rebranded as Jackson Marking Products Co. to better reflect its expanded product offerings. Following the closure of its vulcanizer supplier in 1983, Jackson Marking began producing precision presses in-house, leading to a significant expansion of its product line for the marking-industry equipment. All machines sold by Jackson Marking are manufactured at its own facility, which has been expanded twice since the move to Mt. Vernon. The company has since established itself as a leading manufacturer of rubber stamps, a trusted supplier of raw materials to the industry, and a respected producer of equipment for customers worldwide.
