About Seller: Established in 1909, our specialty lumberyard is the longest running hardwood lumber company in Michigan. We offer access to over 100 domestic and exotic hardwood species, as well as top-quality plywood and veneer products. Our inventory includes a unique combination of hardwoods, plywood, woodworking machinery, supplies, and hardware. Many of our customers rely on us for resources that they cannot find elsewhere for their projects. In the summer of 2007, brothers Mark and Tim Johnson, great grandsons of founder L.L. Johnson, took over the reins of the lumber mill, ensuring a smooth transition into the company's 100th year of business. This fourth generation ownership marks a significant achievement, as only 3% of family-owned businesses in the U.S. survive to the fourth generation.
