The PM process involves molding intricate shapes in presses using specially designed dies, punches, core pins, and other accessories. These molded parts are then sintered at high temperatures in atmosphere-controlled continuous belt furnaces, allowing them to bind together in their solid state while maintaining their shape and size. Following sintering, there are numerous secondary applications available to enhance dimensional precision, improve wear and strength, and provide better corrosion protection.
