About Seller: Luther D. and Emory H. Snyder established the Littlestown Hardware and Foundry Company, Inc. with a team of sixteen employees, initially focusing on gray iron foundry operations including production, machining, painting, and plating of iron castings. During World War I, the company manufactured castings for bearings and shafts in support of the war effort. Over time, the company expanded its product line to include hardware items such as bench vises, flanges, hammers, book ends, fire place tools, and door stops alongside a diverse range of commercial castings. Presently, the company employs 95 individuals and primarily specializes in the production of commercial aluminum castings, which accounts for over 90 percent of our business.
