About Seller: THE HISTORY OF MASTER CRAFT
Founded in 1952 by Mr. John Haswell, Master Craft originated from Mr. Haswell's vision of owning a tool and die company, and later expanding into a metal stamping plant. Seizing an opportunity due to his employer's overwhelming workload, Mr. Haswell purchased a mill to meet the demand. Within a decade, Master Craft had grown substantially, employing over 200 staff and expanding its equipment and capacity significantly. The company's clientele included major corporations such as Ford, GM, and Chrysler, producing a wide range of metal stampings and assembly components for various industries.
In the 1970s, Master Craft ventured into system manufacture and assembly, securing a Ford tractor company contract and successfully launching the rough terrain forklift, a unique product niche. The innovative forklift received acclaim for its design and functionality, propelling Master Craft into a new era of success. Relocating to Tifton, Georgia in 1975, the company continued to thrive, establishing a strong dealership network and expanding its market presence globally. Today, Master Craft is recognized as one of the top rough terrain forklift manufacturers in North America, boasting a significant market share and a reputation for quality and reliability.
As a family-owned company since its inception, Master Craft remains committed to building long-lasting relationships with its customers and dealers, while delivering high-quality equipment that stands the test of time. Our legacy of excellence and dedication to innovation continues to drive us forward into the future.
