About Seller: Reading Thermal, a brand under Reading Bakery Systems, was established in 1999 with the belief that innovation should be straightforward, dependable, and accessible. The SCORPION Data Logging Measurement System was created by a team of heat transfer experts with these principles in mind. Originally conceptualized by Fylde Thermal Engineering in Macclesfield, England in 1988, the SCORPION concept started as a 16 channel data logger and temperature array system, with data analysis done using an early version of MS Excel. Today, the SCORPION 2 is a comprehensive hardware/software measurement system, featuring a 32 input channel data logger and a selection of compatible sensors to assist process engineers, quality control engineers, and oven manufacturers in understanding the four crucial parameters of any thermal process: 1) Temperature [Air, Band, and Product Core], 2) Air Velocity, 3) Energy Transfer, and 4) Humidity. In response to customer needs, Reading Thermal introduced the SCORPION Profiling Service to aid customers in resolving baking, drying, and cooling issues. Additionally, the Oven Safety Inspection Program was developed to assist customers in meeting OSHA regulations.
