About Seller: Sterling Equipment and Manufacturing was established in 1976 by founder William "Bill" Sterling Redmond. Initially operating out of his gas station in Orlando, Florida in the early 70s, Mr. Redmond started fabricating and selling steel truck accessories. As demand increased, he decided to separate his fabrication services into a new entity, Sterling Equipment & Mfg. Co. Inc. After retiring in 1983, Bill Redmond sold the business to the current owner and president, Peter Rogers. Peter Rogers collaborated with Bill for a month before finalizing the purchase of Sterling Equipment & Mfg. at the end of 1983. Subsequently, Peter's two sons joined him in the business and became corporate officers in 2001, contributing to the company's continued success with a combined experience of over 70 years.
