Our particular expertise lies in the bonding of PTFE/TFM to rubber for diaphragms and seals. These products are utilized in a variety of industries including chemical processing, ultra-pure semiconductor manufacturing, medical, biomedical, and water purification applications. Depending on your specific design requirements, our diaphragms can be homogenous, fabric reinforced, PTFE/TFM, PTFE faced, or a combination of these options.
We collaborate closely with clients during the design phase to recommend suitable rubber compounds that align with their product specifications. Our manufacturing process involves molding top-tier diaphragms, bonded assemblies, and precision rubber parts at a competitive price point. With eleven molding presses available, including four vacuum presses, and our own mixing facilities equipped with an internal mixer, two mills, and one mill calendar, Tempron has the capacity to develop custom rubber compounds tailored to your precise needs.
While we work with natural rubber and a wide range of synthetic rubbers, our specialization lies in fluoroelastomers. Additionally, we provide design support and material selection guidance to ensure optimal product performance. Past collaborations have resulted in the production of diaphragms with PTFE facing that have demonstrated a flex life exceeding 200 million flexures.
