About Seller: Thread-Craft, Inc. is a manufacturer specializing in mechanical linear movement actuators, including ball screw assemblies, acme or lead screws, roller screws, and precision spindles. Our machining capabilities extend to special tool holding devices and precision machine details. We offer full-service repair services, evaluating and repairing or remanufacturing products to OEM specifications, as well as precision machining, grinding, and thread grinding services. Thread-Craft, Inc. was established in the early 1950s by Lloyd E. Johnson and Ture A. Lindholm. Originally starting with three employees and a 1,000 square foot facility, the company primarily focused on threaded plug and ring gages and thread grinding services. As the company grew, it relocated to a 3,000-square-foot facility in Warren, MI in 1956, and was officially incorporated in 1958. Throughout the years, Thread-Craft, Inc. expanded its product line to include machine tool components such as worms, acme screws and nuts, and ball screw assemblies. The company experienced significant growth, leading to the addition of more manufacturing space and equipment to meet demand. In 1994, Thread-Craft, Inc. recognized the need for a larger facility to accommodate its expanding operations. Plans were made to double the office and manufacturing space, as well as incorporate production machines and material handling aids for efficiency. The new facility was designed with a focus on employee health and comfort, featuring climate control and a state-of-the-art air purification system.
